HCLA strongly believes in the effectiveness of alternate dispute resolution (ADR) options for resolving clients’ disputes. Our aim is to focus on the efficient and flexible resolution provided by arbitration, which can be less complicated than traditional litigation. Through arbitration, the client will receive a swifter resolution of its issues, with the added benefit of a relatively simplified process, as opposed to the set dates for a regular court appearance. The arbitration process can be customized to the client’s needs in tandem with its counterparty or can utilize existing international templates which have been test proven countless of times.
In order to achieve a successful arbitration process, HCLA has formed an expert group of lawyers and legal advisers that focuses on providing mediation and arbitration services to clients worldwide. Throughout many years of practice, clients worldwide showed significant trust to the expert group formed under HCLA and consequently, HCLA gained a reputable experience in the field of ADR.
The expert group mandate is to provide companies and governments with dispute settlement services, including conflict resolution strategies, pre-dispute negotiations, selection of arbitrators and case management when so retained. This group formed by the HCLA, has gained remarkable experience throughout the years by providing to the clients a satisfactory arbitration award, but also an awareness of how the process operates in practice.
More specifically, HCLA experts have gained experience in numerous arbitration proceedings and cases before the following chambers, and institutions:
- Zurich Chamber of Commerce, Switzerland
