In recent years, the HCLA, in collaboration with leading European universities, chambers of commerce, and bar associations, has organized several educational courses about “Law and Business”.
The “Health Law and Cross-Border Transactions” is a newly-designed program, developed and presented within the framework of the “Think Global, Go Global” project. It is a unique course tailor-made for CEOs, lawyers, professionals, and business owners who are active in the health sector or who have a background in medical sciences. The course aims to address challenging issues related to business management and regulatory aspects of health and medical care and explores new ways to mitigate the burden of litigation for those already active in the sector. Issues related to international law and entrepreneurship, case law, and solutions for the provision of health and medical care will be delivered by high-profile lectures of the program.
The main format of the course consists of a series of lectures, workshops, and case studies. Given the current global situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first phase of the program will be conducted online. However, whenever possible, in-person visits and training sessions will be organized in the EU countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France.
