The “Iran-EU Business Opportunities” summit, organized by The Hague Center for Law and Arbitration (HCLA), the European Institute of Law and Business (EILB) and the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion (NCH) kicked off today in The Hague with the participation of more than 150 delegates from Iran, Spain, Italy, Germany and The Netherlands.
The event began with a general session, during which the organizers and some Iranian officials delivered their speech on the opportunities for promoting business relations among Iran and the European Union.
The delegates then entered into project presentations and panel discussions on oil, gas and energy; water and civil works; banking and agriculture.
The panel discussions well followed by bilateral meetings which will continue on 13 of May.
The Iranian delegation participating in the summit is composed of senior officials, project and industry owners and bank representatives.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Netherlands has welcomed the delegation participating in “Iran-EU Business Opportunities” summit, organized by the Hague Center for Law and Arbitration, the European Institute for Law and Business and the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion.
H.E. Dr. Alireza Jahangiri received the delegation , composed of senior economic officials, bank representatives and project and business owners, with a short speech, few hours before the official kick-off of the summit.
The official inauguration of the conference is scheduled for today 12 of May at 14 hours local time.
A high profile delegation composed of officials, project owners and bank representatives from Iran arrived on 11 May at Schiphol Airport to take part in the summit “Iran-EU Business Opportunities”, organized by The Hague Center for Law and Arbitration (HCLA), European Institute of Law and Business (EILB) and the Netherlands Council for Trade promotion (NCH).
During the event, the delegates will present the projects available for financing, joint venture and cooperation under for categories of Banking and Finance; Oil, Gas and Energy; Civil Works and Water Management; and Agriculture.
The Chairman of the Board of HCLA, Dr. Ali Marossi, welcomed the delegation described the event as a “project based” summit. “The goal of this summit is to promote business opportunities between Iran and The Netherlands”, he quoted.
The summit will be inaugurated on 12 May with a general session, after which the delegates would enter into bilateral negotiations.
