As part of the “Think Global, Go Global” programme, HCLA and NEXEL will publish summaries of research papers that provide in-depth analysis of the legal and business environment in four selected countries: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Despite the ease of access to information in today’s digital age, businesses still encounter obstacles when it comes to investing. Commercial court and international arbitration dockets are frequently congested with cases, highlighting the importance of understanding the investment and arbitration infrastructure in a particular jurisdiction when contemplating entering or safeguarding one’s interests.
In the coming weeks, we will publish summaries on FDI & Arbitration in a number of selected countries. These summaries will thoroughly analyse the legislative, business and legal environment for foreign investment and arbitration in the selected jurisdictions.
HCLA-NEXEL’s research aims to provide investors with an in-depth understanding of these jurisdictions’ investment and arbitration landscape, enabling them to make informed decisions.
